Repetition Questions

I’m confused on something. I’m going to use Scent Training Step 1 for an example.

It states “repeat approximately 20 times.” Does this mean to do 20 repetitions during each training session? This is what I think it means. Or does it mean to do 20 seperate training sessions/days?

Doing it 20 separate training sessions dont make sense, because it tells you in the book not to move to the next training step till your dog does the training step at 90-95% accuracy.
