    Before you begin training your dog in public as a service dog in training (with a vest on), your puppy should know at least the following commands with a 90% success rate, both at home and in pet friendly stores.
    – Sit
    – Down
    – Sit Stay (distance – 5 feet)
    – Come (Come and sit in front of me)
    – Heel (Walk at my left side on a loose leash)
    – Close (Sit at my left side)
    – Place (Duration – 30 second)
    – Watch Me (give me eye contact)
    – Leave it
    – Get dressed
    – Powder Your Nose (relieve herself)

    A DAD should be inconspicuous and out of the way when in public. The following is a list of suggested commands your DAD should know by the completion of training so you can keep her safe and be respectful of the public.
    – Sit
    – Down
    – Sit Stay (distance – 25 feet)
    – Down Stay (distance – 25 feet)
    – Stand Stay (distance – 5 feet)
    – Come (Come and sit in front of me)
    – Heel (Walk at my left side, sit when I stop)
    – Close (Sit at my left side)
    – Side (Sit at my right side)
    – Between (Sit between my feet)
    – Front (down between wall and my feet)
    – Behind (down between a wall and backs of my heels)
    – Go On (walk in front of me)
    – Follow (walk behind me)
    – Place (duration – 4 hours)
    – Watch Me (give me eye contact)
    – Leave it
    – Touch
    – Under
    – Paws Up (front two paws on object)
    – Get Up (back two paws on object)
    – Get Dressed (put vest on)
    – Break
    – Off
    – Powder Your Nose (relieve herself)
    – Chill (put chin on my foot)
    – Get Juice
    – Get the Meter
